Filtering column system
Frequently little plants have an inadequate purification capacity to particular pollutant substances as surfactants, metals. solvents etc.
A very good solution to these problems comes to the installation of filtering stages wich filling changes in accordance with the necessity (quarziferous gravel, zeolite, carbons, etc.).
The use of the filters joint to a radius sterilization system, is suitable also for the sewer waters recovery and for the drinking waters plant.
The filter is made of steel or iron tank (blaseted, galvanized or enameled inside) suitable to normally pressure, with tubes, valves and manometers.
Its working can be made manually or automatically with pneumatic valves from a control console.
The automatic end of the operative cycle is controlled with timer or impulses from a pressure switch in entrance. It will be washed counter-current with filtered or normal water at low pressure air.

Aquaflot
One of the principal problems of the waters purification is the presence of synthetic, vegetable or animal oil and grease hardly biologically degradable.
Their presence in the sewer waters purification plants creates frequently problems as:
• Raising of the principal parameters COD, BOD, ammonia, nitrate etc.
• Release of nasty smells
• Turbidity of water
• Weakening of the activated sludges caused of the inhibition produced from the greases in the oxygen exchange and the development of a aimed bacteria flora.
• The coming to the surface of the sedimentation tank of the sludge with a consequent overflow and so the worsening of the principal parameters.
Aquadepur realized the flotation line Aquaflot for the treatment of the sewer water of:

The Aquaflot system work as chemical-physical; the liquid that should be treated is aimed with flocculating agents and than pressurized with air.
When liquids reach the flocculation tank, air in form of micro bubbles push the coagulated flocks and the overhunged particles; at the end through a superficial scarper the concentrated flocculate is shared.
So Aquaflot can reach interesting results; its action infact is not limited to the elimination of the oils, the greases and the coarse substances but extended also to the lowering of the principal analytic parameters as COD to reach, in some case, the 70% of the yield.

The use of biotechnologies in the effluents treatment is a very recent event.
Its indispensability has spread during the years and has acquired shape since man analysed the waters treatment plant like not a simple gathering of tanks of reactions (depurative theory of the physical-chemical treatment in the 70s) but like a real “reactor” where very difficult reactions of exchange among the substances take place.
The biological treatment takes shape and reveals itself able to, through a proper dosage of microorganisms, to di metabolize any pollutant.
The biological treatment aim is to eliminate the organic substances consuming the oxygen (eliminate the BOD) reproducing the auto-depuration processes which are already existent in nature, but in checked conditions and concentrating the processes during the time and in a long space.
Indispensable product for this kind of treatment is Bioactiva characterized by the presence of thousands of bacterial strains and fungus showing a particular appetite for pollutants.
Since in fact, according to the biological treatment of waste waters, the biomass is subject to an environment with a continual exchange, with quickly changeable characteristics, the microbial strain immission happened, in advance, because suitable to the aim through the laboratory proofs.
In this case it’s possible to obtain that the biomass of the treatment plant has got a wide range of microbial strain, among them the most suitable can be selected to satisfy the system need.
So, several kinds of Bioactiva have been studied and they represent the several strains able to degrade, in a short time, any kind of pollution.
The "specialized microbial products” have been obtained, each of them has its own detailed application field.
The use of particular bacterium in the reactor satisfies some important questions made by the conductors among them:

Active carbons for the safeguard of the environment
The particular characteristics of the carbons were already known from the ancients that exploit them to eliminate the odours and the disagreeably taste of the waters.
The industrial active carbons chemically inert are essentially composed of carbon having a porous structure very developed, that can be divided into macro-meso and micro poros.
Thanks to this variety the pores give to the carbons a great capacity of absorption of the many variety of organic or inorganic substances.
Thanks to these different characteristics of the active carbons their use has different applications: from the water to the air or gas purification.
To this aim Aquadepur made a active carbons line called Carbonsorb vegetable and mineral available in dust-granular or cylindrical form.
Active carbons for water treatments
The application of the active carbons in the treatment of the civil and industrial sewer waters can be the right solution where the conventional treatments do not guarantee the achievement of the parameters
requested from the law.
The active carbon can be used at the beginning of the biological treatment filtering in the oxidation and flocculation tanks the toxical and the biodegradable products to filter further on the excessive substances.
It can also be used at the end of the plants to obtain optimum conditions of the waters coming out from the treatment.
Active carbons for air treatment
Thanks to its ability for fixing gas molecules and steams, present in the water, the active carbons can clean filtering the different matters present in the emission as sulphur compound, mercaptans, hidrogen sulphide, organic solvents etc. The active carbons have also an excellent deodorising capacity.
